• songs: a few recordings that I would consider "more polished" or more put together. In most cases these went through several iterations, differntiating them from my typical improvisational sketches.
• snippets: these are mostly voice recordings from cellphones, which I've tried to separate into their own categories as well as possible.
  • song sketches: long rambling improvisations that I inteded to cut down and re-record but usually didn't, melodies and other vocalizations. the largest category by far.
  • voice progress: a record of how my voice has changed since I started hormone replacement therapy in [date]
  • "covers": simple recordings of singing along to songs
  • miscellaneous sounds: other non-musical utterances. sometimes chance recordings, sometimes notes or poems.
